Boro linked to Aston Villa striker Jonathan Kodjia
Boro are set to make a bid for Jonathan Kodjia having missed out on the signing of Martyn Waghorn.
Football Insider sources understand that Tony Pulis is keen to add to his attacking options after missing out on Ipswich’s Martyn Waghorn to Derby County.
According to the report, Pulis is understood to be an admirer of Kodjia and would be keen to add him to the Boro squad before the end of the Transfer Window.
The Ivory Coast international has had a difficult 12 months after suffering two serious ankle injuries which forced him to undergo surgery.

Kodjia made four appearances for Villa last season, but in his debut season in 2016/2017 he scored 19 goals in 36 games.
